This is the work Victor is known for. Cedar-lined cabins with a sleeping loft over the living end, framed on a trailer or set on piers, finished inside with real timber rather than panelling pretending to be it.

Three ways to get one, and the third is the one almost nobody else offers: we build one to your plan, we sell one already built, or we rent you one. Renting matters because a tiny home is often the answer to a temporary problem — a parent who needs to be close for a year, a rental income you want to test before committing, a place to live on your own land while the main house is being worked on.

Inside, the loft is what makes a small footprint work: the bed goes up, so the floor stays a room instead of a bedroom you also eat in. Stairs where there is space for them, a ladder where there is not — and stairs are worth the floor area they cost if anybody using it is over fifty.

Cedar is used because it stays stable in Central Texas humidity swings and because it looks like what it is. The ceilings are boarded, the beams are left showing, and the fittings are real fittings rather than caravan hardware that fails in a season.

A guest house, a rental, somewhere to put a parent, or a place to live while the main house is worked on. The answer changes the layout more than the square footage does.

Buy, build or rent

If we have one finished you can look at it. If you want something specific we build it. If you only need it for a while, we rent it to you instead.

We build it

Framed, sheathed, roofed, then lined and finished inside. You see photographs as it goes rather than being told it is nearly ready.

Delivered and set

Brought to your land, set down and levelled. A cabin that is not level does not stay square, and every door in it will tell you so within a year.

Common questions

Can I really rent one instead of buying?

Yes, and it is worth asking about. People rent when the need has an end date — a family member staying a year, or testing whether a rental unit on your land actually earns before you pay to own one.

Can it go on my own land?

Usually yes, and we set and level it for you. What varies is what your city and your deed restrictions allow, which is a different question in Austin than it is in Taylor — ask us and we will tell you what we have run into.

Is it on a trailer or on a foundation?

Either. On a trailer it can move and is treated differently by most cities. On piers it is steadier and feels more like a small house. Tell us which problem you are solving and we will tell you which one fits.
